There are lots of types of genre in Electronic Music so now I'm going to share some 'Typical" Tempo ranges for most common genres:

Let's start a List...!!

  • Hip-Hop: 60-100 BPM (Some people says that Hip-Hop is around 80-115 BPM )
  • Dubstep: 135-145 BPM (Some people says that Dubstep is 70 - 75 BPM (mostly 80-90), which is equivalent to 140 - 150 BPM depending on if you count the snare on the 2 and 4 or the 3 of the measure)
  • EDM (House Music): 115-130 BPM (Mostly used BPM is 128)
  • Techno/Trance: 120-140 BPM
  • Drum & Bass: 160-180 bpm

Try adjusting the tempo while the beat plays & listen to how it changes
